Mercedes is a precious 1.5-year-old Shih Tzu mix weighing in at just 10 pounds—the perfect size for laps, cuddles, and carrying around a stick that is clearly WAY bigger than she is!

Mercedes' Favorite Things:

- Prefers doggy friends her own size
- Good with kids
- Cats Unknown: We haven't had the opportunity to see what he thinks of feline friends yet.
- Working on her potty training
- Walks really well on a leash and LOVES going for walks!
- Crate trained: although she may initially let you know that she strongly objects to being separated from her humans!
- Knows sit, off & come
- LOVES a good stick—because apparently toys are overrated!
- Extremely affectionate and always ready for some loving
- Professional cuddler & snuggle buddy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
