Meet Maddox!
Professional Ball Chaser Part-Time Goofball Full-Time Sweetheart
Maddox is a 1-year-old, 50-pound Lab mix with a silly personality, a playful spirit, and a heart that just needs a little time to open up.
Maddox’s Highlights:
- Fur-Sibling Fanatic: He LOVES playing with his foster fur siblings and would absolutely thrive in a forever home with a doggy brother or sister!
- Kid Friendly: Maddox enjoys hanging out with his little human friends!
- Cats Unknown: We haven't had the opportunity to see what he thinks of feline friends yet.
- Crate Trained: He’s got this one down!
- Potty Trained: Check!
- Working on Leash Manners: He’s learning how to be the best walking buddy he can be!
- Working on “Sit”: He’s a smart boy and catching on!
- TOYS = YES PLEASE!: Maddox loves ALL the toys, but balls are his absolute favorite! Throw one and watch his inner athlete come out!
- Secret Snuggler: Once Maddox realizes he can trust you and that he’s safe, his sweet, cuddly side comes shining through.
- New Things Can Be Scary: New noises and unfamiliar environments can make Maddox feel unsure. He needs a patient, understanding family who will give him time, encouragement, and reassurance while he learns that the world can be a safe place.
- Certified Goofball: Maddox has a wonderfully silly personality that is sure to keep you laughing!
Maddox may need a little patience while he gets to know you, but once he decides you're his person, you'll get to see the sweet, affectionate, cuddly boy hiding behind those puppy-dog eyes.
If you're looking for a playful companion, a doggy sibling's best friend, a ball enthusiast, and a goofy boy with a heart of gold, Maddox might just be your guy!
