Periwinkle - Shih Tzu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Glenelg, Maryland

Hi I'm Periwinkle, and cute as a button! I am just settling in to my foster home, but so far, I tend to get a little jealous when other dogs come up to get attention. I'm a bit of a Prima Donna. That's not to say that I need to be an only dog, just that my foster notes that I would benefit from a little bit of a quieter home and someone willing to work with me on sharing attention. I am dog and people friendly.

Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
