Beans - Lhasa Apso and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Glenelg, Maryland

Hi there, I'm Beans, and I am a sweet little guy! I like both dogs and cats, but if the cat runs, I will gladly chase, otherwise I will pay them no mind. My foster reports that I appear to be house trained, am good on leash and want to be near my person all of the time. I will bark if you leave me; I am still understandably traumatized from being abandoned. So, if you have the time to help me settle in and be your new best buddy, apply today.

Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

The Lhasa Apso is a small and fearless dog breed originating from Tibet, known for its long and flowing double coat that requires regular grooming. These alert and loyal companions possess a distinctive demeanor and make excellent watchdogs. They are independent yet affectionate, enjoying their human family's company while also being wary of strangers. With a history rooted in Buddhist monasteries, the Lhasa Apso is a sturdy and ancient breed cherished for its adaptability and unique personality.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
