Meet Waddles! 🐾💕

Waddles came to us after a massive breeding operation was shut down with nearly 100 dogs. Because of the life she lived before coming here, she is very scared and has a lot to learn about being a companion dog.

Waddles is not housetrained and may be unfamiliar with things like leashes, household noises, being handled, and normal home routines. She will need a very patient, understanding adopter who is willing to give her time to decompress and learn at her own pace.

Progress with Waddles may be slow, and her new family will need to celebrate the little victories. She needs someone who understands that trust cannot be rushed.

Waddles has had a difficult start, but she deserves the chance to discover what it means to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. ❤️An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.
Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
