🐾 Meet Hudson – Your Happy Little Homebody! 🐾
Hudson is a 12-month-old Shih Tzu weighing in at 14 pounds of pure sweetness. This happy-go-lucky little guy has a calm, easygoing personality and a quiet charm that makes him such a joy to have around.
Hudson may have been found as a stray, but it’s clear he knows how good life in a home can be now. In fact, he’s not a fan of being outside for too long — he’ll happily bounce at the door to let you know he’s ready to come back inside where it’s cozy and safe!
He walks nicely on a leash, travels great in the car, and is overall a pretty chill companion. Hudson does well with other dogs and cats, and while we haven’t seen him with small children yet, we think he would do just fine as long as they are gentle and respectful of his size.
Hudson is doing great with crate training — no accidents in his crate — and he’s adjusting well to a routine with no accidents in the house. He was also a perfect gentleman for his groom! When he first came to us, he had very severe ear infections, but after treatment (including long-lasting medication), his ears are already improving and continuing to heal beautifully.
Hudson is the perfect mix of low-key, loving, and just a little bit silly — especially when he’s hopping at the door to come back inside. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who truly appreciates the comforts of home, Hudson is your guy. 🐶💙

Hudson’s adoption fee is $800, which is tax-deductible. To apply to adopt Hudson, please send an email with the subject line “Hudson”. He will go home with a collar and leash, two food bowls, some food, treats, a toy, bed and all of his medical records and microchip information to help make his transition to his forever home smooth and easy.
