Scotty - Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie and Corgi Dog for Adoption in Irving, Texas

We'd like you to meet Scotty.

Scotty was picked up off of Highway 377 in the Gordonville, Tx area by a good Samaritan. They could not find the owner, and they took him to the vet to be scanned and given all his required vaccinations. No microchip was found.

We believe he is around 2 years old, weighs about 20 lbs. and, we don't need to say anything about his amazing blue eyes (aren't they gorgeous?). Scotty is not yet neutered so he will be going to the vet next week (August 17th) for the surgery and to be heartworm tested.

Scotty is really sweet. We are wondering if he is part Corgi because he has such short legs. He gets along with kids and other dogs. He walks well on a leash. His foster dad takes him on a daily walk. Unfortunately, Scotty is not house trained so his new family will need to have patience and work with him. He's really smart and loving.
