Zuko is a gentle soul with a big heart and a quiet, soft way of connecting with new people. This pittie mix came to the shelter when his beloved owner faced medical challenges and could no longer care for him. It is a change that has been hard for such a devoted companion.

It's clear Zuko was deeply loved, and he carries that love with him into every new connection he makes. He is sweet, thoughtful, and tries so hard to make his people happy, often looking to people he knows for reassurance and guidance.

Zuko would thrive in a home that can offer him kindness, patience, and a sense of security as he settles in. In return, he will give you his whole heart. He would thrive in a home that would take him for long, sniffy walks. Zuko might be interested in living with older kids and maybe a dog friend, but they would have to meet first. His previous home describes him as sweet and cuddly, crate trained and afraid of vacuums.
