Rachel is a 10 years, 1 month old female Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix who weighs 5 pounds.
Rachel is a tiny senior Chihuahua looking for a soft, loving place to enjoy her golden years. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she loves to snuggle close and be your cozy companion. Rachel has a sweet personality with a determined spirit that helps her adjust and thrive.
She came to the shelter as a stray and needed medical care. Rachel has had a benign mammary mass removed, received dental surgery, and is now on lifelong treatment for chronic dry eye. Her medications cost approx $55 per month.
Rachel is ready for a calm home where she can feel secure, loved, and comfortable. If there are to be kids in her new home they should be older teens and able to be respectful with a tiny senior. Rachel may be able to live with another calm dog, but they would have to meet first.
If you are interested in adopting Rachel, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are unable to come during those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times may be available by appointment.
