Albie is a lovable, people-oriented dog who enjoys walks and exploring but is just as happy relaxing and cuddling with his favourite people.
Picture coming home to that famous Scooby Doo smile, waiting to welcome you back. Imagine a morning stroll through the neighbourhood with Albie happily by your side, or an afternoon exploring a new trail together, taking in every sight and smell along the way. With his medium energy, he's ready for a good outing, and then just as happy to head home and unwind.
In the evenings, picture Albie curled up beside you on the couch, content just to be close to his favourite people. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs, so he'd be a friendly addition to the family. Whether it's an adventure or a quiet night in, Albie simply wants to be part of your everyday life and to share it with you.

• Any children in the home must be over 7 years old

• Previous dog experience

Our dogs are placed on a foster-to-adopt basis, with a 2–3 week trial period to make sure it's the perfect fit for both Albie and his new family.

The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
