Rowan - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Rockville, Maryland

Rowan has been busy learning how to live in a home since being rescued, and now he is ready for his forever family!

This 11 week old shepherd mix tips the scale at 12lbs. True to his breed mix, he is wicked smart and eager to please. He loves to run around with canine friends but his truest love is his humans.

Because Rowan is at a critical time in his life where he's learning all about the world around him and how to be a good friend to other doggy friends, we are looking for a new forever home with the following:
- A fenced in yard
- At least one other canine friend to mentor him
- Humans who are home most of the day to work with him on basic training and socialization
- Human committed to enrolling him into puppy classes with certified trainers who are non-abrasive.

Due to the puppy's young age, adopter of this puppy must be home most of the day. Adopter will also be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered and include a spay/neuter fee at the time of adoption for a future spay/neuter with one of our affiliated veterinarians.

The puppy is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. The adopter will need to arrange for the puppy's spay/neuter surgery for when the puppy turns 6 months of age.
