Sweet, gentle, affectionate, joyful... These words instantly come to mind when talking about Nugget. But this 1-year-old 75 lb scruffy hunk of a good boy is so much more! Like teens of all species, he's still learning how to be his best self. Most notably when it comes to giving people hugs without consent, and stealing food from places where he has no business to be. Nevertheless, these are all things that can be resolved through training. The core of who he is, the essence of his good nature personality, is what makes him a gem These traits that make him the perfect family dog and these qualities that make us fall in love with him are hard to come by!

Nugget loves all friends! Dogs, humans, children, cats, he does not discriminate. However, he is a little too playful with his feline friends and likes to play chase, which is not always appreciated. So to spare the kitties from headaches and anguish, we recommend a home without cats. Nugget also does not have any concept of personal space. Which is perfect for someone looking for a body pillow to snuggle with. However, when it comes to smaller humans, some extra supervision and coaching might be needed so no one gets knocked over.
