Casey - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Riverdale, New Jersey

Casey, possibly a shepard/husky mix, came to us with no background or history of family. He appears to be a couple years old. Casey was found as a stray, but it quickly became apparent he has lived with someone in the past. He listens very well and knows basic commands . He's not a barker and will go into a crate easily, although after the first week, we let him have run of the house with no issues.
Casey is very happy to run around the backyard with our dog. He has lots of good energy and intelligence. We noticed immediately that he was starved for attention and companionship. Whenever we're sitting, he's right next to us with his head on our laps. Or sometimes he's lying on his back looking for belly rubs.
Casey seems well fed and not under weight at all. He is a terrific, loyal dog who just wants to be loved.
