Jax - Shepherd and Hound Dog for Adoption in Medfield, Massachusetts

Jax is a handsome Shepherd/Hound mix who is 9 months old and 36 lbs. He should end up on the smaller side of medium when fully grown. Jax was found on the side of a rural road in MS before coming into southern rescue. He is a playful guy who loves to be around his people and play with other dogs and kids. Fetch is his favorite game! Jax is crate trained and doing really well with house training. He is doing well on leash and even loves cats. He would do well in an active home with kids or other pets. He loves the outdoors and would even make a great hiking partner. This sweet boy will make the perfect family addition.

All dogs are up to date on their sots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.

Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
