Melvin - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Medfield, Massachusetts

Meet the "M" Litter – Melanie, Margaret, Marilyn, Mindy, Mark, Melvin, and Mason — 13 week-old mixed-breed puppies who've stolen the hearts of their foster family! This bunch was rescued as strays and has been thriving in foster care ever since, where they're described as an all-around very sweet litter.

These pups are settling into their foster home life beautifully. They're crate trained working on house training and leash manner. They have great social skills — they play well with other dogs and get along wonderfully with people.
This litter enjoys plenty of playtime with their foster siblings. They've had exposure to both indoor and outdoor living, and would do well in a city or apartment setting, provided they get their exercise. Each pup is looking for a home full of lots of love and attention. These puppies have not been cat tested.

Melvin weighs 11 pounds at 13 weeks old. He's looking for a loving family who can continue the great foundation the foster has built — someone ready for walks, playtime, and continued training as he continues to grow and learn. As with all of our puppies, he would do best with children 5 and older.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.

Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
