DESCRIPTION
Buddy – ID# 22086 – Kennel 804 – Arrived as a stray on August 27th, 2026 – Shepherd mix – ginger and white – Male – 8 years old – 50 lbs – Neutered – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative
Buddy is a distinguished gentleman with a warm ginger and white coat and an expression that's as sweet as it is soulful. A good bath will really bring out the best in his coat, but even now, his charm shines right through.
Buddy came to the shelter as a stray on August 27th, 2026. At 8 years old, he's spent his golden years in a loud, unfamiliar kennel environment rather than the comfortable home he deserves — a reality that makes finding him the right family all the more important.
Buddy knows how to sit when asked and absolutely loves treats, though he's still working on taking them gently — a little practice with soft-hand feeding or training treats tossed on the ground can go a long way in helping him polish that habit.
Senior dogs like Buddy have so much love and loyalty left to give, often arriving already house trained and easygoing, with none of the puppy chaos. Buddy deserves a soft bed, a quiet home, and someone to spoil him for the rest of his years — he's more than earned it.
