America is only 1 year and 1 month old, yet she has already found herself caring for a litter of kittens. She and her babies arrived at the shelter on July 19th, and now this young mother is waiting for the chance to have a home of her own.

America's kittens are still just 8 weeks old, making this an especially important time for this little family. Her kittens are also available for adoption, and seeing them together is a reminder of the bond they share.

America is up to date on vaccines and FIV/FeLV negative. She will be spayed prior to adoption, so her next chapter can begin with the care and security she deserves.

There is something especially meaningful about giving a young mother the opportunity to leave shelter life behind and settle into a home where she can simply be a beloved companion. America has given her kittens a strong start, and now she deserves someone to give her the same kindness.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
