Delta nka Emma - Shepherd and Hound Dog for Adoption in Horn Lake, Mississippi

Meet Delta nka Emma: Emma is a 10 month old (as of August 21, 2026) shepherd/lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 lbs. This sweet girl was adopted in February 2026 when she was three months old. She now finds herself in search of a new forever family. Even though her family loves her very much, they are unable to keep Emma because one of the children has developed a dog allergy.

Emma has so much to offer a family. She is very loving and likes to snuggle on the couch. She enjoys being outside and wants to be close to her people. Emma goes to daycare and gets along with all the dogs, even bigger dogs. She is super smart! Emma has learned so many commands already – Sit, No, OK, Leave It, Down, Treat, Drop, Come, Potty, and Up (for stairs). One of her favorite games is playing ball. Emma is good with kids and currently lives with three children under the age of 5 years old. We would recommend children 7+ years because of her energy.

Emma is potty-trained and lets you know when she must go outside for a potty-break. Emma is crate-trained. Emma would be happy with a family that has time to spend with her and not be crated 8+ hours a day.
