This handsome German Shepherd/Husky mix is the perfect blend of fun and laid-back. Baxter is a sweet, easygoing guy who simply enjoys being near his people. Whether you're hanging out in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or enjoying a leisurely walk, Baxter is happy just being part of the action.

Loves a good game of fetch... for a few throws, anyway! After that, he's ready to kick back and enjoy some quality time with his humans.

One of Baxter's favorite activities? Splashing around in the water tub! If there's water involved, chances are you'll find Baxter nearby enjoying himself.

Walks beautifully on a leash
Takes treats incredibly gently

Who qualifies?
U.S. Military Veterans
Active-Duty Military & National Guard
Active or Retired First Responders (Police, Firefighters, EMTs/Paramedics, and other qualifying professionals)

For eligible adopters, the program includes:
Adoption fee waived
Food and starter supplies
Approved professional training support
