Maya is fully spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She has no shedding issues (though regular brushing is recommended) and is in excellent health.

Personality & Behavior:
Maya is a sweet, loving, and joyful companion. She may be a little shy when meeting new people or in a new environment, but she quickly warms up and forms strong bonds. She loves affection, thrives on attention, and has a happy, playful spirit. She's good with other dogs, great with kids, but not suitable for homes with cats. Maya is calm, quiet, and medium-energy—daily walks and playtime keep her engaged and happy.

Training & Adaptability:
Maya is leash-trained, potty-trained, and crate-trained for travel. She's comfortable in the car, adapts well to new routines, and enjoys exploring new surroundings. While she can be left alone for short periods, she does best in homes where she has companionship and enrichment.

Ideal Home:
Maya would thrive with a loving family or a dedicated single owner who enjoys outdoor activities, bonding time, and daily engagement. She makes a wonderful second dog and can bring balance and joy to a home with other canine companions.

Rescue Story:
Maya's journey began when she was found abandoned at a gas station near Guadalajara. Rescued by a compassionate foster, she's been nurtured, socialized, and loved ever since. Though she hasn't yet found her forever home, Maya's affectionate nature, curiosity, and joyful heart shine brighter every day.
