Heron is a playful, cuddly puppy with a big personality. She loves being near her people and will happily follow you from room to room but is also happy to play with her toys and explore on her own.
This smart little girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including her littermate, Honeybee, and her 9-month-old canine foster sibling. She's also comfortable and curious with children.
When Heron first arrived at her foster home, she wasted no time jumping into the puppy pool and splashing around with her sister. She absolutely loves water and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys spending time by the lake, at the beach, or simply hanging out in the backyard with a kiddie pool.
Although she's quite a bit smaller than her sister, Heron is definitely the boss! She even tries to boss around her foster sister. She's confident, curious, and always ready for her next adventure. She loves playing outside, carrying around her favorite toys, and exploring the world around her.
Heron is also a quick learner. She already knows how to sit, sleeps well overnight, and is doing an excellent job with her potty training and is already picking up the household routine. She's on track with her potty training.
With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and eager-to-please attitude, Heron is sure to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love to her forever family.
The H litter came to us from our rescue partner Riverside County Animal Services (California).
HOW TO ADOPT:
THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to smpetfinder@gmail.com. Please note in the email subject which puppy you are interested in.
Go to: http://www.smallmiraclesrescue.org
and click "How to Adopt". There you will find the dog application available for download.
The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day.
Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.
Adoption Fees:
Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.
Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
