TRIXIE - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Broomfield, Colorado

Meet Trixie!

Trixie is a gentle, sweet puppy who might start out a little shy, but once she warms up to you, her loving personality shines through! She is a massive fan of cozy cuddle sessions, and if you offer her a good belly scratch, you'll instantly have a friend for life.

When she's in play mode, Trixie loves squeaking her favorite toys and working on a good bone—her top favorite activity! She's also developing a fun, adventurous side thanks to her foster sisters. She has officially joined their daily backyard patrol, marching around the yard and keeping a very serious eye out for any brave squirrels.

When it comes to her daily routine, Trixie likes to express her opinions when she first goes into her crate for naps or bedtime, giving 5–10 minutes of barking and howling. Once she lets off that little bit of steam, though, she settles right in and sleeps soundly. Her potty training is a work in progress, but with a consistent schedule, she is learning the ropes more and more each day.

Trixie is looking for a patient, affectionate family who will give her the belly rubs she loves and help her confidence continue to grow. If you're ready for a devoted snuggle bug, Trixie is eager to steal your heart!
