TESSA - Cattle Dog Dog for Adoption in Broomfield, Colorado

Hi, my name is Tessa! My foster mom calls me Cyndi Lauper because I'm red and I'm rad. I'm your personal assistant. Going to the bathroom? No problem! I'll guard the door, working on your laptop? Great! I'll keep your lap warm. Trying to read?Perfect! Scoot over! I'm very happy and love to go. Walking, hiking, being outdoors, all good with me. And when we come home, I love a soft place to sleep. I get scared when other dogs approach me too fast especially when they're off leash and I'm not, so please introduce me to other animals slowly and build my trust. Kids and humans are great by me, especially when they let me lick their faces.

As an older dog, Tessa prefers personal space and doesn't want other dogs running up in her face. She does best with slow, proper introductions at her own pace. She has walked side by side with a friend's dog on a hike, ignored cats without giving chase, and is simply puzzled by prairie dogs with no significant prey drive.
