At 1.5 years old and 28 pounds, Fern is a gorgeous little mystery-maybe a mini Shepherd/Husky blend? Whatever her family tree holds, the beautiful branches definitely showed up!

Fern's story is heartbreaking. According to the account shared with us, her family tried to find her a home on Nextdoor before moving. When no one stepped forward, they moved anyway... and Fern was left behind.

Thankfully, a kind neighbor spotted her on the street and took her in, giving her a safe place to land. Fern lived with cats in her rescuer's home and has also done great with other dogs!

Now this lovely girl is ready for a fresh start with a family who sees her as part of every future plan. New house? Pack Fern's bed. New adventure? Save her a seat. Moving day? Her name belongs on the checklist right beside "bring the family."
