Meet Ursa.
Ursa is an adorable 2-month-old Shepard/Husky mix. She is 14 pounds of fluff and fur. Ursa, along with her six brothers is the only girl and the smallest of the "Bear Litter"; a litter of furry, fun-loving and playful pups, who are as sweet as they are cute.
Ursa is a black and white pup with beautiful hazel eyes and a curly tail. She is the smallest of the litter by a couple of pounds. She has a little bit of a gentler touch than her brothers, but is totally able to hold her own in the rough-house play. She also likes to check in with her foster mom periodically for her fill of snuggles. Although the smallest of the litter, Ursa will still probably be a large dog when fully grown. Ursa has puppy energy now, but is likely to be a medium energy dog as an adult. She uses puppy pads reliably, and is ready to start his potty training. Because of her size, she would be best in a home with a fenced in yard where she can play freely, but it is not required.
Ursa is a nice blend of affectation and playfulness. She is very sweet and kind of an independent little girl. As with all puppies, she will need to be taught boundaries and be given the opportunity for regular exercise. If you believe you have the right home to give Ursa the love and commitment she deserves, please apply today. She would be a wonderful addition to most families.
Ursa is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
