History: Meet Meru — a handsome young husky shepherd mix with a playful spirit and a smart head on his shoulders.

Meru is doing wonderfully in foster care and has already shown what a good boy he is. He sleeps quietly in his kennel all night without barking and is doing great with his house training, mostly doing all of his business outside like a pro.

This happy pup loves being around other animals and is always hoping someone will join in on the fun. He’s very playful with both cats and dogs and would happily spend the day making new friends. While he may try to convince the cats to play at first, he’s a smart boy who quickly learns boundaries — once the cats give him a little correction, he respectfully backs off and leaves them alone.

Meru has a sweet, goofy personality and the kind of loving energy that makes people fall for him fast. He would thrive in a home ready for puppy fun, continued training, and lots of love as he grows into an amazing companion.
