Foster insight/story:
Petal’s story started when she was found as a stray, waiting for a family who never came. But she hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit.
Petal is your loyal little sidekick, the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are, doing whatever you’re doing. She’s calm and easygoing most of the day, happy to just hang out by your side… until it’s playtime, and then her personality blooms. Whether it’s romping with another dog or playing with her humans, she’s all in.
She’s got a soft spot for her toy bones and is currently learning what she can and can’t eat or play with. She’s curious about everything—especially toads, which she is very excitable for and will make you laugh.
Petal is still working on her manners, like keeping all four paws on the ground when she’s excited, but she’s smart, eager to learn, and already responding well to guidance. She’s got the most sweet, loving, and loyal personality—with a little sprinkle of herding energy when she plays.
Petal would thrive with a family willing to put in a little training and guidance, because this girl has all the makings of an incredible companion.
If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly goofy, always-by-your-side kind of love… Petal is ready to grow with you.
