DESCRIPTION
Hi, my name is Milo! I am a 6-ish year-old pup, weigh 60 lbs and I am 22” tall and most definitely housetrained! I am available to meet you and show you firsthand how awesome I am! My people tell me I am a Shepherd Hound mix, but really, I am a lover-goofball mix. I have a lot of energy and love to play, walk, and hike with humans and other dogs, and off-leash I have great recall! I love adventures and I am looking to adopt a human that will love them as much as I do 😊! Sometimes when I encounter other dogs on a leash, I get nervous – but I am working on that. I love going to doggy-daycare to play with my friends, and I am trained on the invisible fence. I have attended several training classes and have learned to wait patiently while my people get my collar and leash together for a walk, I sit and shake hands for “cookie” treats (who wouldn’t!), I come when I am called, among other fun things. Cats make me uncomfortable, so I prefer not to live with any. I like to talk and will have meaningful conversations with you, and there are times I will groan with contentment. I go to the vet regularly for check-ups and I am up to date with my vaccinations as well as neutered. I am learning a lot of new things and enjoy training (really, it’s the treats). I truly am a best friend kind of pup. I would love to find a home with active people that have another dog I can play with or have friends with other dogs that we can have play dates with. If you want to learn more about me, and meet me, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org so that we can get this ball rolling!
