Baloo - Shar Pei Dog for Adoption in Ontario, New York

Baloo is a goofy puppy that found himself living on the streets! He was found as a stray and when he was not claimed, he was fully vetted and is now ready for adoption. We have no idea what he is but based on his fur texture and black spotted tongue we suspect there is some shar pei in there! We estimate that he is now about 6 months old and he is a typical adolescent. He can get overstimulated and be a little mouthy but is so full of love! He is currently living with other dogs and cats and has interacted with kids. He will make a great addition to any active family! Apply to adopt him here

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
