Meet Finch — a 5-year-old, 15-pound Schnauzer mix with a gentle personality and a whole lot of love to give.
Finch came to us from Mexico in very rough shape and ultimately needed to have one of his back legs amputated. Since then, he has been healing beautifully, getting stronger, and showing us just how adaptable and resilient dogs can be. He is doing very well as a three-legged pup and continues to improve every day.
What really stands out about Finch, though, is his temperament. He is loving, sweet, affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when he is close to his person. He has that wonderful little-dog quality of being perfectly content curled up beside you or sitting in your lap, but he still enjoys getting out, exploring, and being part of daily life.
We think Finch would be especially well suited for an active retired person or couple who wants a devoted companion to share walks, errands, quiet afternoons, and plenty of couch time with. He is not looking for a high-energy lifestyle — just someone who will include him, love him, and appreciate what an easy little companion he is.
Finch has already been through a lot, but he is not defined by what happened to him. He is simply a very sweet dog who is feeling better, getting healthier, and ready for the comfortable, loving home he deserves.
If you are looking for a small, affectionate companion who will be genuinely happy just being by your side, Finch may be your guy. Apply today on our website at www.soulshinedogrescue.com
