At just 7 months old, Ruby has already had quite the journey—and now she’s ready for the very best part: finding her forever family!

Ruby came to us all the way from Jalisco, Mexico, where she was found abandoned at a gas station alongside a busy highway. Thankfully, someone spotted this sweet girl before anything happened to her and got her safely to a veterinary clinic. When a forever home couldn’t be found for her in Mexico, Ruby made the trip to Southern California for a fresh start.

And you’d never know from meeting her that life got off to such a scary beginning. Ruby is sweet, affectionate, friendly, and loves people. She gets along well with other dogs and is always happy to head out for a walk or hop in the car for an adventure. Even better? She’s already house-trained!

Ruby is still just a puppy, with so much life ahead of her. She’s looking for a family who will give her the love and security she missed out on early in life—and in return, you’re going to get one very loving little sidekick.
