Jax - Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Plant City, Florida

Jax is 11 years old and recently had a dental cleaning. He is a friendly boy that wants to be with his people all the time. He is very sweet and would make a great companion.

He was surrendered to our shelter with another dog named Kona. They are great together - so they can be adopted together or separately.

If you are interested in meeting Jax, please submit an application on our website at https://www.rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption. Our adoption coordinator will reach out to you by email once the application is processed. If you have questions in the meantime, please email the adoption coordinator at rainingcatsanddogsvolunteer@gmail.com.

Our team is 100% volunteer based and many of our volunteers have full time jobs, so we appreciate your patience with us as we process your application. It could take up to a week for us to reply although we try to do it much faster. Please make sure you fill out the application as thoroughly as possibly so that there are no delays in processing it. Thanks for looking and we hope to be able to match you with your next fur baby!

The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.

Our mission is to provide temporary and forever homes for dogs and cats from Hillsborough and Polk Counties.
