Dill Weed (Practically Perfect in Every Way) - Schnauzer and Border Terrier Dog for Adoption in Bridgeton, New Jersey

Don’t let the name fool you—Dill Weed is a Dill-ight! At around 5 years old, this neutered Schnauzer-Border Terrier mix is the ultimate seasoning for your home: he adds just the right amount of flavor to your life without ever being overwhelming. Plus, he comes completely house-trained and ready to step right into your heart.

Dill Weed is the king of low-drama companionship. He’s deeply loyal and loves a good snuggle session on the couch, but he also respects your personal space. He won't hover over you like a needy shadow while you're trying to work; he's perfectly content to hang out nearby and do his own thing. Super smart and gentle to his core, he’s fantastic with kids and gets along like a charm with other dogs. As for cats, they’re technically an unknown, but Dill Weed’s zen approach to wildlife is a huge green flag. While other dogs go wild over squirrels, Dill Weed just sits back, takes a breath, and watches them go by like a tiny philosopher. With proper introductions, we think he’ll handle feline roommates just fine.

When it comes to activity, he is always down for an adventure! He loves his daily walks, though his enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of him and he can pull on the leash. A little gentle guidance will have him strolling like a total gentleman in no time.

Dill Weed is currently finishing up a course of antibiotics for anaplasmosis—a super common tick-borne illness. It’s completely non-contagious to humans and other pets, and once his meds are done, he’ll be good as new with zero long-term side effects or limitations.

If you’re ready to bring home a smart, sweet, and perfectly balanced best friend, Dill Weed is ready to meet you!
