// // Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a 1-year-old, 14 lb Schnauzer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. I’m on the search for my forever family—could that be you? I had a rough start and was neglected early in life, but thanks to Second Chance, I’m safe, healing, and showing everyone just how resilient and joyful I am. I’m truly people-obsessed—I love men, women, kids, and even strangers on walks (be ready to make lots of new friends with me by your side!). I’m also great with other dogs and would especially love a playful canine buddy to keep me company. I’m smart and very food-motivated, which makes me a quick learner. I’m already making great progress with potty training and am eager to keep learning with a little patience and consistency. I’m also working through some separation anxiety, but I just need reassurance that I’m safe and loved. At home, I enjoy watching the world from the window, lounging on soft blankets, and soaking up all the cuddles. At night, I sleep in my crate in my foster’s room and do great on a routine. Despite my past, I’m happy, affectionate, and full of life—I truly have so much love to give. All I need now is a family to share it with. Lucy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.
