BLANKA - Samoyed Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Sweet Blanka comes all the way from Azerbaijan, former Soviet Republic - where pets often face mistreatment or abandonment to survive on harsh streets - to find her forever family.

Blanka is a special and mellow girl. She is 5 years old, is well socialized with dogs and people. Tested with kids and did beautifully. (see video) She also seems to be good with cats too (see video) Blanka is on the submissive end of the spectrum.

Blanka can live alone or with other dogs. We look for adopters who are home most of the day or who can perhaps take her with them to work. A fenced in yard would be ideal so she can run around. Or nearby parks.

Be prepared to get stopped a lot by strangers as she she is a true beauty!

Blanka expects very little in life and she will be soo grateful to become part of yours. She will shower you with all the affection that she has been waiting to bestow on a human of her own. Blanka is a gentle and loving soul, emotionally intuitive and deeply intelligent.

Blanka is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $1200 to help defray her high international transport costs.
