Chico - Saluki Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Meet Chico, the sweetest, bravest good girl who comes all the way from Kuwait.

Chico's road to her furever home has been long but it is finally her turn to fly to the US. Chico was living with a heavy metal disk around her neck for months when someone finally alerted a Kuwaiti rescue group and they immediately stepped in. She was taken to the vet where the disk was removed and she could begin healing.

Today Chico is a loving, gentle pup with a kind heart despite her traumatic past. She gets along great with other dogs and will come to humans for pets and love once she feels comfortable. Chico will adore whoever becomes her furever human and she is so deserving of someone special.

Chico would do best in a quiet neighborhood as she is not fond of loud noises.

Can you give Chico the home she deserves? If you're interested, please fill out an application on our website at www.gwarp.org and text our volunteer Diane at 917-771-1383 to follow up.
