Saint Bernard and Boxer Dogs Available for Adoption in Amherst, Virginia

GEORGE

Saint Bernard, Boxer
🇺🇸
Amherst, Virginia
April 23rd
male, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Found at Rt. 60 & Union Hill wearing a collar & leash attached!

Yet no one has called looking for him..someone had to be walking him when he got loose?!
He's been with us over 10 days in AC custody...

We hoped his family would have come, his legal hold is up & he's available for adoption.
Do you know his family?

He has been named George.

He looks like a mix of St. Bernard with Boxer.
He's too small to be a full St. Bernard at 88 pounds and doesn't have the long coat either but we see both of these breeds in George.

Young at approx. 3 years old.
He flashed this great smile which we made our hearts melt! Goofy George.

George tested well with dogs, a cat hissed in his face, he laughed & strolled off...

George can be very strong on a leash so be prepared for exercise until the pulling is under control...
