At only 3 years old, this sweet Rottweiler has already been through more than most dogs ever should. After her owner passed away, Ira suddenly lost the only home and person she'd ever known.

But despite all of that, she is still one of the happiest, gentlest girls.
She absolutely loves toys and has such a soft, loving personality.

Since being at the shelter, Ira seems uncomfortable around other dogs, so she'd do best as the only pet for now. We know shelter stress can be hard on dogs, especially after such a huge loss, so we don't want to completely rule anything out long term, but right now she's happiest soaking up all the attention herself.

She's such a good girl. So sweet. So deserving of a quiet, loving home where she can finally feel safe again.
