Gertrude - Rottweiler Dog for Adoption in Carmel Hamlet, New York

At 7 years young, sweet Gertrude is officially ready to graduate from foster care and step into the softest chapter of her life: her peaceful retirement home.
Gertrude is the definition of a gentle soul. She has a heart far bigger than her 63-pound frame, and her absolute favorite thing in the world is simply being near the people she loves. Whether you are sipping your morning coffee, relaxing after a long day, or pottering around the house, Gertrude will be right there by your side—a quiet, comforting companion who asks for so little and gives endless love in return.
This gentle lady gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, bringing a calm, reassuring energy to every room she walks into. She is fully crate trained, respectful, and has gentle indoor manners. No wild puppy chaos here—just a wise, loving girl who knows the true value of a warm bed, a tender head scratch, and a family to call her own.
A second chance looks truly beautiful on Gertrude. She has given so much of her sweet spirit to the world, and now she is just waiting for the special family who will give her the loving retirement home she so deeply deserves. Could that forever spot on your rug be hers?
