Freya - Rottweiler and Border Collie Dog for Adoption in Berea, Kentucky

I’m a young-ish girl who came to the shelter as an owner surrender and was recently brought back after my family realized I was a little too much puppy for their home. I have plenty of energy and need a home that understands that I’m a young dog who needs both physical exercise and plenty of opportunities to work my mind.

I have some of the typical quirks of my breed, so an experienced home is a must for me. I walk pretty well on a leash and I’m good with kids and other dogs, although I’m still learning how to understand when another dog gives me a correction. I’m not quite house trained yet, so that is something I’ll need my new family to patiently work on with me. We aren’t sure how I feel about cats yet, so that would need to be approached carefully.

I’m a young girl who needs someone willing to put in the work to help me become a well-rounded family dog. I have a lot of potential, but I need a family who understands that young, energetic dogs need guidance, structure, exercise, and a job for their minds!
