Meet Copper — Ready for His Forever Family!

Copper is a sweet 4-month-old male puppy who, along with his brother Rusty, was found abandoned in Bakersfield, CA. These two little boys were sadly left to fend for themselves and were severely underfed. Despite such a rough start to life, Copper hasn’t let it steal his puppy spirit. He is happy, playful, curious, and absolutely loves being around people!

Copper is a lanky mixed-breed pup with a gorgeous reddish coat and an adorable short tail. His exact breed is unknown, but we suspect he may have some Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Cur, or hound in his mix. Whatever he is, he sure is one handsome boy!

This boy LOVES his food and is always ready for mealtime! He also enjoys playing, exploring, and soaking up attention from his people. Copper is doing well with his potty training and is at that perfect puppy age where he is ready to continue learning, growing, and becoming an amazing family companion.

After being abandoned and experiencing hunger at such a young age, Copper deserves so much more. He deserves a family who will be there through the puppy craziness, the training, the growing, and every adventure that comes after. Most importantly, he deserves a family who will make him a permanent part of their lives and never give up on him.
