Meet Buttercup!
Buttercup is a 2.5-year-old, 45-pound boy with a calm, gentle nature. He is friendly and confident when meeting new people and will happily come over for some pets and affection.
Buttercup does great with other dogs and is comfortable walking past them or spending time alongside them. When he's off leash in a safe area, he enjoys calmly exploring his surroundings and checking everything out at his own pace.
He loves getting outside and is curious about the world around him. While he can be a little unsure when venturing farther into unfamiliar places, he keeps going with some encouragement and looks to his people for reassurance. We think his confidence will continue to grow once he feels safe and settled in a home of his own.
Buttercup is affectionate, easygoing, and simply a really sweet guy. He's ready for a family who will give him the love, security, and happy life he deserves.
If you're looking for a gentle, dog-friendly boy with lots of love to give, Buttercup may be the one for you!
All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll.
To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:
LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.
RNR's ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.
MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.
APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.
