Burapa's story is one of quiet resilience. At six years old, he arrived at Soi Dog Foundation's hospital after falling into a canal during a torrential rainstorm, where he was trapped for nearly a week before being rescued. Amazingly, he came through it all without any physical injuries.

Burapa is a gentle, independent soul who is still learning to feel safe. He can be a bit nervous at first, but with time and patience, he begins to settle and will approach on his own terms. He's not a dog who seeks constant attention—he prefers a calm, steady environment and builds trust slowly.

He gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable sharing space, though he tends to keep to himself. Outside, he may be a little unsure at first, but he will walk when given time and reassurance, and he passes by people and dogs calmly.

Burapa would do best in a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. For the right person, he will be a deeply rewarding companion.

All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll.

To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.

RNR's ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.

APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
