DESCRIPTION
This adorable young pup is MOOSE, a 2 year old male Retriever mix that was surrendered to us so that he could find a home that better suits his needs. Moose is a very sweet and active dog. He would do best with a family who has the time to give him the daily exercise and training that he needs at his age. He also needs someone who can help build up his confidence as he can be a bit nervous when it comes to meeting new people. He doesnt react, he just gets really low to the ground and it takes some gentle encouragement to make him feel comfortable. It doesnt take him long at all to warm up to new people though and when he does, hes all love! Were working on leash training with him and hes already doing better just after a few days but he does still like to jump up and bite at it sometimes. Hes essentially still a puppy who just wants to play and we dont think he was ever on a leash much. Moose seems to do pretty well with the other dogs here but meet and greets with any dogs in the home is required. He has lived with children and also said to be good with cats but we have not tested that out here yet.
