Meet Elias!

Elias is an approximately 12-week-old Retriever mix puppy with the sweetest personality you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a best friend who loves to cuddle, you’ve found him! He’s incredibly affectionate, unbelievably soft (seriously, he feels like a little cloud), and happiest when he’s snuggled up with his favorite people.

He’s currently being fostered in an apartment and has been adjusting wonderfully to city life. Elias is great in the car and loves tagging along on adventures and trips to TJ Maxx! He’s also joined his foster mom for brunch with friends, where he happily sat on her lap while they waited for their food before curling up in his wagon for a peaceful nap while everyone ate.

Elias is a social little guy who enjoys meeting new people. He loves getting pets from strangers who stop to tell him how adorable he is, and he has done well with children who have wanted to say hello.

He’s working hard on his crate training and is making great progress. He sleeps through the night in his crate and may occasionally let out a little whine just to make sure his foster mom is still nearby. Once he sees her, he’s perfectly content to settle back down and drift off to sleep.

Outside, Elias isn’t much of an explorer. Instead, his favorite activity is finding a patch of grass where he can roll around, relax, and soak up the fresh air. He wears a harness and leash well, although he’d much rather ride in his wagon than take a long walk!

Elias is currently enjoying being the only pup in his foster home and has loved all the extra attention, but he has also been friendly with other dogs. He hasn’t had the opportunity to meet any cats yet, so his feline compatibility is unknown.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect apartment companion or have a home with a yard for him to lounge in, Elias would fit right in. He’s a gentle, loving Shepherd mix puppy with an easygoing personality and so much love to give.
