Meet Mando, a 10-12 year-old Rat Terrier whose rescue story began when he was found as a stray and, despite someone once calling him family, no one ever came looking for him.
Now Mando is hoping for a happy ending.
This little gentleman weighs just around 10 pounds and isn't asking for much. He isn't the kind of dog who needs constant attention or wants to be the center of everything. Instead, he's content with a peaceful home, a soft bed, a predictable routine, and someone who simply lets him know he belongs.
Mando is friendly, enjoys the company of calm dogs, and would thrive in a quiet retirement home where life moves at a slower pace. While he's not a big cuddle bug, he has a quiet way of stealing your heart.
Mando does take daily liver medication, which costs about $50 a month. We know that may make some people keep scrolling, but we also know there's someone out there who understands that our senior dogs are worth every penny and every bit of love.
After all he's been through, Mando deserves to spend his golden years knowing safety, comfort, and the unconditional love every dog should have.
If you've been thinking about opening your heart to a senior, maybe Mando has been waiting for you all along. Mando is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He had dental work done and now has a much improved smile. His adoption fee is $135. Click on the link below to complete an adoption application.
