Hi, I'm Agatha! I'm a 5-year-old rat terrier looking for my lap to lay in. I prefer a quiet, predicable home, with one or two confident people to help make me feel relaxed and secure. I need my people to be in charge, so I don't have to be.

I like to move at my own pace and greet new people first so please don't rush me. Once I trust you, I'm very affectionate and calm. Oh, and I LOVE belly rubs, car rides, and walks.

I like other dogs, especially if they are on the calmer side like me. Since I haven't been around cats, I'm not sure how well we would get along. Since I am looking for a calmer environment, I'm looking for my forever home without children. I am potty trained and can comfortably hold it for several hours, if I need to.

I do get nervous in certain circumstances, so a muzzle is needed for vet visits, grooming, and nail appointments. This helps to keep everything safe and stress-free.

My ideal home and family are one where I can build trust at my own pace, have a routine which includes exercise (I'm a bit of a chunky girl!) and get plenty of affection with someone(s) who makes me feel safe and understood.
