Keke - Rat Terrier Dog for Adoption

Hi my name is Keke. I’m a 4.5 mth old border collie mix , or that’s what my foster mom thinks. I was found as a stray. I know, way too young to be wandering the streets alone right!! Thankfully I was saved. I was found skinny and alone. I was put on stray hold for a week but no one came for me. That’s when I got a new mom. She is fostering me until we can find me a forever family.

For 4.5 mths old I’m very smart! I use potty pads inside if I need too, but I’m doing great at pottying outside. I can and have slept in my kennel but I prefer to be in bed with my foster mom, brothers and sister. And we even have a kitty that I sometimes chase because she will run and I think we are playing chase but she lets me know when she’s had enough.

My foster mom even trusts me being left out with my foster brothers and sister when she has to go somewhere. I have plenty of toys to keep me occupied but I mostly sleep while she’s gone.

I would do better with a little older kids since I am teething and sometimes mistake fingers and toes for chew toys. I’m a very quick learner. I know what No means, I sit and I’m learning shake and how to walk on a leash. I will be a good protector for my new forever family. I love being outside playing or inside as long as I have someone to play with.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
