💛🐾 Meet Tera 🐾💛

Tera is about 9 years old, weighs just under 13 lbs, and is still available for adoption. Her adoption fee is flexible -- you can name your own. 🌟

Tera's story is a special one. A few years ago, we helped her previous owner -- who was homeless -- get her updated on vaccines and vet care so he could enter a shelter during the cold weather. Sadly, he later passed away, and Tera was taken to animal control, who contacted us. We brought her back, had her fully re‐evaluated by our vets, and prepared her for adoption.

When she first returned to us, Tera was very scared and would offer to bite out of fear. With time, patience, and consistency, she has completely come around. She is now sweet, friendly, and lets us pick her up, love on her, and handle her comfortably.

Tera does great with other dogs and enjoys spending time outside. She will need a patient adopter who understands her past and can give her the gentle, steady environment she deserves. 🥹💖

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
