💙🐾 Meet Zig Zig (Ziggy) 💙🐾

Ziggy is still available for adoption, and his adoption fee is $300. He is about 4 years old and weighs around 12 lbs. 🌟

Ziggy is a sweet boy once he knows you and trusts you, but he does need time to feel safe. With new people, he may feel the need to protect himself and can offer to bite. He did this with our staff for about a day -- until he realized everyone here was kind and no one was going to hurt him. Once that trust forms, he becomes an affectionate, gentle little guy. 🥹💛

He came to us very underweight, and it's clear he wasn't properly socialized or cared for in his previous home. Because of this, Ziggy will need an adopter who is patient, understanding, and willing to give him the time he needs to come around. But once he does, he is truly the sweetest companion.

Ziggy gets along great with other dogs and loves the pools in our play yards -- splashing around is one of his favorite things. 💦🐶

👉 We strongly recommend a home with children over 13, as Ziggy needs a calm, patient environment while he builds trust.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
